Anonymous (#1)

Anonymous Interviewee #1 writes about the fear that she and society felt due to lack of education and knowledge. Although not directly affecting her, she realized the severity and easiness of transmission once becoming aware of how HIV spreads. Gaining both sympathy for those with AIDS — a feeling that already brewing inside of her due to moving images she saw in the news — and fear about if she herself had the virus, she illustrates how the epidemic made her practice safer sex.
